These placemats took me two tries to get them to have the feel that I wanted for an outdoor patio set in the summer. They are light and beautiful while still interesting and sturdy. They use 8/8 cotton from Gist Yarn. Feel free to use the pattern! It is a twill set up with a triple diamond pattern.
I do suggest adding a floating selvedge to keep the edges neat.
